And another friendly hi-def hello to our fellow blu-ray geeks. Welcome to the weekly look at our most wanted titles coming to blu-ray and/or 4K Ultra HD for the week of October 8, 2019.
We have three films making home video debuts today as Pixar's Toy Story 4 gets a splendid 4K UHD release, while the Ari Aster folk horror film Midsommar, and the supernatural horror Annabelle, each get Blu-ray + DVD + Digital edition releases. All three releases come with tons of bonus material.
And if that weren't enough to turn your week blu, there are five other films coming to blu-ray this week that make our list of most wanted titles. {googlreads}
Kino is making a lot of noise with three killer blu-ray editions. First up is the French horror film Baby Blood on blu-ray followed by the Umberto Lenzi-directed slasher Nightmare Beach which is getting a brand new 4K remaster and the Italian sword and sandal flick Hercules in the Haunted World which comes in a 2K restoration from the original negative.
Arrow is releasing on blu-ray the horror film Toys Are Not for Children and coming out of the Warner Archive this week is the Shazam! The Complete Live Action Series blu-ray that features season 1-3 as well as a brand new remaster in a four-disc set.
Also coming to blu-ray this week is the 1974 horror film From Beyond the Grave.
