While Michael Bay is again at the helm (after taking a brief respite from blockbusters as the director of 2013's Pain & Gain), he says this one will be his last for the franchise. Shia Lebeouf is out this time around while Mark Wahlberg takes the lead starring as Cade Yeager alongside Nicola Peltz as his daughter Tessa Yeager both of whom we met in the last installment. Stanley Tucci and Kelsey Grammer also star with Peter Cullen returning as the voice of Optimus Prime.

Even though the story (which acts as somewhat of a franchise reboot) takes place just four years after the events in Dark of the Moon, the Transformers themselves have undergone a noticeable transformation with Bay saying the franchise is trying to broaden itself and reach out with more places to go. While that sounds all good and dandy and might even be a nice way to prepare the franchise for the next director, let’s make no mistake that the real reason is to sell more toys and Transfomers-branded product.

We were teased during the Super Bowl with a brief 30-second TV spot that featured the Dinobots, but now you can watch a full-length trailer below that reveals a bit more about the plot and characters as well as featuring more exciting robot action. You can also gle Optimus Prime in the film's impressive poster below.

Transformers: Age of Extinction hits theaters everywhere this summer on June 27th.
