Warner Bros has just released the new trailer for the rebooted Ocean's franchise. And boy does it look like they have this thing back on the right track.
The twist this time around is that the film stars an all-female cast in the franchise made famous by George Clooney as criminal mastermind Danny Ocean. Of course, Ocean's Eleven kicked it all off back in 2001 with a gang of eleven crooks played by the likes of Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, and Bernie Mac. But of course, why would we expect that girls can't do the same thing with a smaller crew?
Sandra Bullock plays the sister of Clooney's Danny Ocean and seems to have picked up right where he left off with her own gang of female conspirators. When the ladies learn that The Met is set to host its annual ball, they prepare a plan to rob it... well, not it, but rather the neck of socialite Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway) that is blinged out with a diamond necklace valued at over $150 million.
Ocean's 8 stars Olivia Munn, Cate Blanchett, Dakota Fanning, Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Paulson, and Katie Holmes.
