Sasquatch Among the Wildmen

Sasquatch Among The Wildmen is a true story.  Get that through your thick head first, dear readers.

That’s right, filmmaker Darcy Weir dares to begin his documentary about Sasquatch with a disclaimer that - surprising none - states that, yes, this film is all about TRUE encounters - both frightening and on point - with the one and only Bigfoot.

"truly fascinating in the lengths it goes to explore just how common these uncommonly sighted beasts are in human history and, as it comes to personal encounters, it doesn’t fail to get the blood boiling either."

But, first, we get a bit of a history lesson because throughout history - regardless of the culture - our species is plagued with talk about mysterious figures in the woods.  They make up our myths and our legends, but this film - true to its name - goes beyond the yellowed paper of by-gone eras and gives us - thanks to comments from interviewees Dr. Jeffrey Meldrum, Derek Randles, Shane Corson, David Ellis, Darcy Weir, and Lee Lustig - a fascinating look at all the many reasons why the sightings continue.

Sasquatch Among the Wildmen is truly fascinating in the lengths it goes to explore just how common these uncommonly sighted beasts are in human history and, as it comes to personal encounters, it doesn’t fail to get the blood boiling either.  The proof is widespread and so are the encounters which this documentary does a fine job of presenting.  From audio vocalizations and beyond, the evidence is there and, thanks to this documentary, finally organized in a succinct manner.  Sasquatch Among the Wildmen
