Vertigo Releasing has unveiled the official trailer and poster for Strange Harvest, the disturbing faux true-crime docu-horror from writer-director Stuart Ortiz (Grave Encounters).

"A routine welfare check in the San Bernardino suburbs leads to a gruesome discovery - a family of three has been bound, bled and posed below a strange symbol written in blood on the ceiling. Detective Joe Kirby and Lexi Taylor recognize the symbol as the calling card of a killer from 15 years earlier who has seemingly returned to continue his murder spree."


Blurring the line between fact and nightmare, the film follows detectives uncovering a horrifying murder scene that echoes a killer’s work from 15 years ago—suggesting the nightmare isn’t over.

Featuring chillingly realistic performances from Peter Zizzo, Terri Apple, and Andy Lauer, Strange Harvest promises an unnerving descent into fear and obsession.
