Pillow Party Massacre

What’s up, Bitches?!?!?!  It’s time to party with the horrific highs of Pillow Party Massacre!

Within seconds, Dear Readers, and I do mean seconds, I absolutely fell in love with Pillow Party Massacre.  The neon titles; the retro music; the use of slow motion; it’s all there as our cast is assembled at a High School dance in which an April Fool’s Day prank goes all sorts of tits up.  The music stops only momentarily as the girls gathered get their drink on and then - BOOM! - the party is momentarily abandoned to go make out in a mausoleum of dirty socks.

"gets its gruesome groove on for all the party people out there in B-movie land"

Which is where this prank gets its mojo because as Ash starts removing her clothes in a bathroom stall, her friends - all victims of her own pranks - are ready to pull the ultimate switch on her.  But she’s done kidding around . . .

. . . and that’s when the tragedy happens.  Now, we might see it coming but that’s part of the charm as the delivery of the prank is on point and the reaction, well, a big foockin’ surprise!

That’s right, one party ends and another begins as Pillow Party Massacre gets its gruesome groove on for all the party people out there in B-movie land.  Starring Laura Welsh, Chynna Rae Shurts, Allegra Sweeny, Nicolette Pullen, Savannah Raye Jones, and Jax Kellington, Pillow Party Massacre knows how to get your blood pumping and your mouth grinning as a wild-eyed reunion goes off track thanks to the individuals involved and the past they can’t avoid.

Fast forward to two years later and the friends return to their childhood vacation home to reconnect and, possibly, heal old wounds. As strange things begin to happen and the girls turn up missing, it's clear that someone or something is out for revenge.  And their bloodlust knows no bounds. Pillow Party Massacre

Cue the carnage and the comedy as the 1980s come roaring back thanks to the solid production design, the throwback tunes of Feeding Fingers and some gnarly special FX from Raptor FX Studios!  This one has it all.  The heart; the humor; and the horror are all on display thanks to the creativity and control of its writer and director, Calvin McCarthy.

With a wink and a nod to some of our favorite horror films from a bygone era, Pillow Party Massacre succeeds as a throwback to that golden age of cheapo depot flicks thanks to its earnest acting and its production value.  It might be low budget, but you won’t notice as the gang returns to the scene of the two-year-old crime scene.

Breaking Glass Pictures presents a film by Calvin McCarthy, Pillow Party Massacre is now available on digital platforms now thanks to October Coast!
