Get ready to lace up your boots and embrace the wild! The North arrives in UK cinemas on April 24, 2026, with special preview screenings throughout March. You can watch the film's trailer and check out the poster below.
Directed by Bart Schrijver and starring Bart Harder, Carles Pulido, and Olly Bassi, this acclaimed international drama follows two estranged friends reconnecting on a 600-kilometer trek across Scotland’s West Highland Way and Cape Wrath Trail.
As Chris and Lluis navigate the breathtaking yet unforgiving Highlands, old wounds resurface, and truths emerge in the silence of nature. Inspired by Schrijver’s own journey walking the trails solo, the film is a deeply personal exploration of friendship, distance, and self-discovery.
Nothing brings out the truth in you more than walking for a long time in nature.
