If there is indeed a fine line between creativity and Madness, then that line has just been crossed in the new film coming out from Gabe Bartolos, the FX master behind such horrors stalwarts as Gremlins 2 Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Darkman, Leprehcaun, Dolls, and more.

Severin will release the film on blu-ray later this month, but in the meantime, you can check out the new trailer for the film below as well as take a look at the film's one-sheet poster... that is, if you dare! This shit is madness.

Have no idea what this film is about, and the official synopsis doesn't really provide much insight, but if that blood-drinking ogre, parachuting frozen (plucked) turkeys, and escape of a caged hairy creature are any sign, then this thing will be a flat-out balls-to-the-wall nightmare.

The film was shot on Super 16mm and 35mm film and stars Jason Dugre (Bosch), Katy Sullivan (Last Man Standing), Peter Iasillo Jr. (HellBilly 58), Bob Zmuda (Man on the Moon) and Warwick Davis (Leprechaun, Solo, Return of the Jedi) star in the story about a classical musical conductor who unravels into the abyss of insanity. {googleads}

Gabe Bartalos, the film's director, writer and special effects artist pulls heavily from his ripe imagination, creating extraordinary characters, bizarre set designs, and incredibly inspired prosthetic effects. Amid a palette of dark themes, the film takes its audience on a turbulent ride through Bernard’s surreal adventures as he spirals into madness. It's like watching a David Lynch LSD trip!

Saint Bernard will be out on blu-ray on May 14 from Severin Films. And you can bet your bottom dollar we will be all over it like a cheap suit. This will be a region-free release with a Limited Edition slipcover. Extra Features will include:
