A new trailer for Mortal Kombat II has arrived, and it promises a bigger, bloodier, and more brutal showdown than ever before. Director Simon McQuoid returns to the arena, bringing the bone-crunching action to life from a screenplay by Jeremy Slater, based on the legendary video game created by Ed Boon and John Tobias.

This time, the fan-favorite champions are joined by none other than Johnny Cage—played by Karl Urban—as Earthrealm’s defenders are forced into the ultimate no-holds-barred tournament. With the ruthless Shao Kahn looming over the battlefield, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Expect jaw-dropping fatalities, epic one-on-one clashes, and the kind of gloriously gory spectacle fans demand.

The film also stars Adeline Rudolph, Jessica McNamee, and Ludi Lin, delivering powerhouse performances to match the high-octane action.

Distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, Mortal Kombat II explodes exclusively into theaters and IMAX® across North America on May 8, 2026, and internationally beginning May 6.
