And another hi-def hello to our fellow blu-ray geeks. Welcome to the weekly look at our most wanted titles coming to blu-ray and/or 4K Ultra HD for the week of March 26, 2019.

Although we have two significant titles getting the 4K/blu-ray treatment – one a new-to-home-video release, the other a classic 30 years in the making – the big news this week is all about the catalog titles getting new hi-def releases.

Aquaman, DC's latest dive into the superhero realm is our most wanted release this week and is hitting the surface world with a whole slew of editions – more than we want to list here, but the most significant are a 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital HD edition, a Best Buy Exclusive SteelBook / 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital Copy edition, a Target Exclusive DigiBook / 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital HD edition, a Best Buy Exclusive / Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray + DVD + Digital HD edition, and several blu-ray packages including a 2-disc Best Buy exclusive, and a 2-disc target exclusive. Needless to say, it's clear that Warner have gone all with the treatment. {googleads}

The other title getting a 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray release this week is the Stephen King classic Pet Semetary which celebrates 30 years since its release with a 30th Anniversary Edition on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital from Paramount. The film is also getting a 30th Anniversary Edition / Blu-ray + Digital Copy edition, a Best Buy Exclusive SteelBook / 30th Anniversary Edition / 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital Copy edition and a FYE Exclusive SteelBook / Mondo X Series edition.

Another film marking its home video debut is the Barry Jenkins love story, If Beale Street Could Talk which gets a Blu-ray + DVD + Digital HD edition that features a few deleted scenes, a featurette, and an audio commentary by Barry Jenkins.

Sony is hitting us up this week with a blu-ray release of a couple of films making home video debuts. First up is the Laurel and Hardy biopic called Stan & Ollie which stars John C. Reilly and Steve Coogan in the title roles. Included on the disc are four featurettes and 3 deleted scenes. The company is also debuting on home video the Oscar-nominated dramedy called Can You Ever Forgive Me with a Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy editionThe Suckling

Vinegar Syndrome is making a lot of hi-def noise this week as it is releasing three titles that make our list this week. The first is a Blu-ray + DVD edition of The Suckling (Sewage Baby) which gets a brand new 2K restoration from the original 16mm camera negative. The film features a couple of interviews, and image gallery, and reversible cover artwork.

The company is also releasing a blu-ray + DVD edition of the 1990 classic In the Cold of the Night which gets a brand new 4K restoration from the original 35mm negative, a a behind-the-scenes featurette and reversible artwork.

And finally from Vinegar Syndrome is the brand new 2K restoration of the supernatural thriller called Dominique which also features a couple of interviews and reversible cover artwork.

Not to be outdone, Kino Lorber comes out swinging with a pair of releases this week in the form of a two-disc blu-ray edition of the 1973 John Frankenheimer classic film, The Iceman Cometh which features a new 2k restoration of both the 239-minute version and the 178-minute version film. Additionally, Kino has restored, in 4K, For a Few Dollars More, the second film in the Fistful of Dollars trilogy. In addition to the restoration, we get two new audio commentaries in addition to most, if not all, of the existing special features that have accompanied previous releases of the film.

The Street Fighter Collection on blu-ray is coming from Shout Factory and includes new 2k remasters of three films in the series; The Street Fighter (1974), Return of the Streetfighter (1974), and The Street Fighters Last Revenge (1974). All three films in the collection get brand new 2K remasters with the first two also including uncut versions of the film, and the series capper including the U.S cut as well as the Japanese cut.

The Warner Archive Collection rounds out our list of most wanted blu-rays this week with the 1966 Doris Day spy comedy The Glass Bottom Boat which gets a brand new restoration, a handful of featurettes, a cartoon short and a trailer.
