With Henry Cavill sizing up for his blue tights as we speak in Zack Snyder's forthcoming reboot of the Superman franchise, we now move the rumor meter over to thinking about who will become the next Lois Lane.

The New York Daily News reported that Kristen Stewart was definitely a person of interest for the role as the intrepid Daily Planet reporter, but that she turned down the part for specific reasons relating to being overwhelmed with bags and bags of money after the huge success of the Twilight series in which she plays the role of Bella. Seems she wants to focus on smaller indie films for a while. Not a good movie Kristen. Stardom is so ever fleeting.

In the meantime, the hunt goes on. And several names have surfaced of late, including that of Dianna Agron, Mila Kunis, Jessica Biel, Rachel McAdams, another attractive actress, and another... and another...

One story over on Latino Review pricked our ears a little bit though. The site has Olivia Wilde listed among the names being screen-tested for the highly sought after role. The "unnamed" source (always a bad source to quote) knows this because "they've been hired to work on "KIN" and the dates may be pushed back to accommodate the "Superman" schedule should she get the gig."

Warner Bros. has not confirmed the selection of Olivia Wilde as the next Lois Lane, so, the waiting game continues.

She do anything for ya'?
