Anna and the Apocalypse - Movie Trailer

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house,
not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
Young Anna was nestled all snug in her bed,
not knowing tomorrow she'd meet the undead.

There's no such thing as a Hollywood ending in the official trailer from Orion Pictures' ANNA AND THE APOCALYPSE in which we see Anna (Ella Hunt) and her friends try to fight their way through a zombie apocalypse descending upon their small town during Christmas.

Orion just released the brand new official trailer for its zombie Christmas musical film called Anna and the Apocalypse. Yes, you read that right! Zombie. Christmas. Musical. And boy, does this look fun!

The film, directed by John McPhail who works from a script written by Alan McDonald & Ryan McHenry, stars Ella Hunt, Mark Benton, and Malcolm Cumming as best buds who wake up the morning after their high-school's holiday program only to discover that their village is being overrun by hordes zombies. {googleads}

And don't let its sweet little sugarplum title fool you. This thing looks bloody as all get out with plenty of crimson goo staining the pure, driven snow as heads are bashed, faces slashed, and zombies beheaded with weaponized candy canes. And if that weren't exciting enough, the action is synchronized to a chorus of musical numbers as characters dance amongst the carnage.

Anna and The Apocalypse has its roots in Ryan McHenry's BAFTA-nominated short film titled Zombie Musical and debuted at last year's Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas and is now ready to take on the rest of the world.
