Netflix is at it again. The online streaming company just released the trailer for another of its original drama series. This one is called Mindhunter and features Executive producers David Fincher and Charlize Theron collaborating on the series which is, in turn, based on the 1996 book called Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit by authors Mark Olshaker and John E. Douglas.

With similar serial killer movies under his belt like Zodiac, Se7en, and Silence of the Lambs, Fincher is nothing new to the genre and promises more of the gripping same with the series that has been in the works for quite a while but is finally slated to be released in October of this year.

Mindhunter is set in the ’70s and follows a pair of FBI agents played by Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany, who become the first to study and create working profiles of this new class of killer.

Mindhunter will be released on Netflix on October 13, 2017.
