It was DC's super-hero fantasy Aquaman once again topping the weekend box office chart by adding another $30.7 million to its whopping total. That was more than enough to best this week's second place finisher and new entry Escape Room which hauled in a nice $18 million in its debut weekend.
Dropping one slot to finish in third place was Disney's revisit to the Mary Poppins franchise with Mary Poppins Returns which dropped one slot with $15.7 million to bring its three week total to nearly $140 million. {googleads}
Rounding out the top ten were Marvel's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse which added another $13 million to its impressive total which put it just ahead of the Transformers reboot Bumblebee which hauled in $12.7 million to finish in the fifth slot.
Clint Eastwood's drug drama The Mule continues to impress with $9 million while the Dick Cheney biopic Vice nears 430 million total by adding $5.8 million over the weekend.
The top ten was rounded out by JLo's comedy Second Act which brought in nearly $5 million over the weekend while, Disney's Ralph Breaks the Internet which remains in ninth place, followed by the Ferrell/Reilly comedy Holmes and Watson which dropped three slots to finish in tenth with $3.4 million.
