Warner Bros have graced us with a new trailer for Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, Dunkirk which is about the botched evacuation and narrow escape of allied soldiers from Belgium, France, Great Britain, and Canada after they were cut off by the German army during World War II.

Nolan is directing from his own script for the the film which stars Kenneth Branagh, Mark Rylance, Tom Hardy, and Cillian Murphy.The shooting was a huge production on many of the actual locations where the real-life events took place.

Nolan shot on iMax 65mm film for a totally immersive experience due in theaters on July 21 of this year. Nolan is producing the film with his long-time producing partner Emma Thomas

We got our first look at footage from the film last December when the first trailer dropped, but this latest, which you can watch below, is much more intense and reveals a bit more about the plot and characters.

Dunkirk is rated PG-13 for intense war experience and some language.

Dunkirk is slated to invade theaters this summer on July 21, 2017.
