It Comes at Night - Movie Trailer

Right after a secret world premier at the Overlook Film Festival this past weekend, A24 debuted a new trailer and poster for It Comes at Night. And it looks pretty damn terrifying.

If the Overlook Film Festival sounds familiar, it may be because it is held at the famed Timberline Lodge in Oregon which stood in as the Overlook Hotel in Stanley Kubrick’s adaptation of the Stephen King novel, The Shining. So, this thing has to be scary, right?

The film, which stars Joel Edgerton, wowed critics at the Overlook Film Festival and has gained quite the buzz in the subsequent days. A24 has set the film to release right in the heart of the summer seasons  on June 9th, so they must have a pretty good feeling about it. If the trailer below is any indication, we’d say they are right.

What’s up with the red door and who opened it? Why the gas masks? What exactly is going on out there? So many questions but we’ll have to wait a few months to find the answers.

It Comes at Night is rated R for violence, disturbing images, and language.

It comes at Night will infect theaters this summer season on June 9, 2017.

Here's our first look at the terrifying new trailer for It Comes at Night.
