Synopsis: Jennifer (Richards) and her family go on a summer road trip in a used RV with her husband's estranged father and brother. Along the way, they find Samantha (Barton) and her brother, broken down on the side of the highway. After driving into the middle of nowhere, the RV takes on a mind of its own, crashing and stranding them in the scorching and isolated desert. Little by little, the unsuspecting group of travelers is blindsided by the terrible secrets within the walls of the RV and find themselves fighting to survive.

Who hasn't stepped into a ratty RV and thought they've entered a hell hole from which they're likely to never return? Well, it looks like we're about to find out just how demented these aluminum and plywood death traps can become when spirits take over.

Skyline Entertainment and Steel House Productions just announced the day and date release of the new supernatural thriller The Toybox which takes viewers on a haunted hellbound road trip. We also have the film's poster and a nasty new trailer that you can watch below.

The film is being helmed by Clown Town actor/director Tom Nagel and is a supernatural thriller that follows an ill-fated family on a road trip intended to bring them back together, but the possessed RV they're traveling in may destroy them all. With shades of Christine and The Hills Have Eyes, The Toy Box looks to be a genuinely frightening ride.

The film stars The OC's Mischa Barton and Love Actually's Denise Richards along with Brian Nagel (ClownTown), Jeff Denton (ClownTown), and Matt Mercer (Contracted).

The unrated film will be available Blu-ray, DVD and Cable and Digital HD, including Amazon Instant, iTunes, iN DEMAND, DirecTV, Comcast, Optimum, Dish, Google Play and more on September 18th, 2018. {googleads}
