Jurassic Thunder

Prep. Load.  Send ‘em out!

Jurassic Thunder, an outrageous horror comedy with tons of CGI-styled gore, wastes little time in getting to the reason why you’d dare watch this goofy flick.  That's a good thing, too.  Immediately hilarious and over-the-top with its gore, this is great Friday night entertainment . . . especially for lovers of genre mashups like this.

"Without a serious bone in its body, Jurassic Thunder rumbles with heavy action as the scrapes and scars in this out of control story come from all angles"

A mission goes sideways thanks to a sudden ambush deep in the jungle. Except the soldiers can’t believe what they are fighting. REALLY LARGE LIZARDS! And these dinosaurs are well-armed, too.  Pun intended, folks. And if you didn’t at least chuckle a bit at that joke then, well, Jurassic Thunder is definitely not for you.

But, first, we have to stop for a little spell in a comic book shop where the comic is introduced in an over-the-top and hilarious manner thanks to a lifelike “sculpture” that moves and a manager named “WAS” who has to deal with two girls who want to take selfies in front of the sculpture and then want to use the ladies room.  Soon, they are being wooed by the story we are about to sit through.

Weaponized dinosaurs?  Warlords? Zombies? And a Colonel named Sanders?  Oh, hell, yes!  Sign me up for this insanity!  Based on the title alone, leave your brains at the door for this fun horror flick.

From the director of Tsunambee comes the mad stomp of Jurassic Thunder, a film that combines the zombies, crazed commandos, and pits them against heavily-armed dinosaurs (with no authoritative power whatsoever in ANY United States base) and gives them an impossible mission: kill ‘em all!  And this includes the third world militant group who is threatening WWIII. {googleads}

Gung-ho guerrillas, zany zombies, and terrible T-Rex carnage!  What more could you possibly want? A Donald Trump impersonator as President for the past 16 years (God save us all!!!)?  Simply put, this film tops itself with its own loopiness.  You got it all in this rabid tale. Jurassic Thunder boils everything together to make a movie that is killer crazy!  It brings so much gonzo greatness to the table that, quite literally, there is NEVER a dull moment.

Starring Heath C. Heine, Rick Haak, and Jon Cotton, Jurassic Thunder is written and directed by Milko Davis and Thomas Martwick and it delivers as many belly laughs as it does zombie slaughters.  Last year, the film hit select theaters for a brief run, but now its distribution is going large and in charge thanks to High Octane Pictures.The Hustle (2019)

Without a serious bone in its body, Jurassic Thunder rumbles with heavy action as the scrapes and scars in this out of control story comes from all angles.  While zombies are rampant, the dinosaurs, roaring their way toward victory, don’t actually care for their new leash-holders.  It’s only a matter of time before they revolt.

And, seriously, when the leaders are boxing and arguing with each other via hologram, how hard is it going to be for these dinos to kill ALL the humans?  Here a stomp, there a stomp, everywhere a stomp, stomp. These humans better wise up soon! Except they never do, which makes this movie all the more insane.

Jurassic Thunder will be available on DVD and Digital March 10, 2020 from High Octane Pictures.  Dino-mite!
