Action movie fans need love too! All the lovable lugs who enjoy curling up with a cache of TNT and semi-automatic weapons rather than yet another Whitman's Sampler and a sappy chick-flick will have an alternative as Die Hard 5, affectionately titled A Good Day to Die Hard, will blast its way into theaters on this coming Valentine's day 2013.

If the film turns out anything like what we see in the trailer that just hit the web (and which you can watch below), then Valentine's Day will indeed be a good day to die hard.

We don't get a lot to see in the trailer other than a lot of shooting, explosions, and cool militaria, but it's clear Fox are positioning the film as a counter-programming effort to offset the lover's holiday with a manly alternative.

We don't know a whole lot about the plot, and the new trailer certainly doesn't throw us much of a bone, but in the new story, John McClane (Bruce Willis) travels to Russia after his son, John Jr. (Jai Courtney) gets into some kind of trouble with the law.

John Moore is at the helm of the film that also stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead as McClane's daughter (returns from the same role in Live Free of Die Hard), Cole Hauser as the villain, and Russian model/actress Yulia Snigir.
