The Dark Knight Rises teaser trailerWarner Bros. was very busy over the weekend. In addition to the record-breaking release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 which raked in an estimated $168 million, the studio also debuted the first teaser trailer for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises which represents the epic conclusion to Nolan's Dark Knight Legend.

Warner waited until today to unveil the trailer via the company's Facebook page, but you can also watch the trailer below. Don't expect much however, as it's just a teaser (and it's Christopher Nolan) but after some recycled Batman Begins footage, we get a look at Commissioner Gordon in his hospital bed, going on about Gotham's need for Batman. Then we see a few brief snippets of our winged hero preparing to face off against his arch-enemy and dreaded villain, Bane.
