While much of the world's population watched in enchantment the royal wedding of William and Kate, we refused to be sucked in. After all there was a bigger wedding looming on the horizon. While everyone else was chanting "William and Kate," our cry was for Bella and Edward - of The Twilight Saga of course.

Last night, during the MTV Movie Awards, Summit released the teaser trailer for the first of the two closing installments of the Twilight series called The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1.  Yes, this thing is still around and it's about to get all nasty as the other black swan girl (Kristen Stewart) and her immortal lover Edward (Robert Pattinson) tie the knot and travel to Rio de Janeiro for their honeymoon where they do the baby making thing. During her nearly fatal child birth, Bella gets her wish of immortality. But the arrival of their remarkable daughter, Renesmee, sets in motion a perilous chain of events that pits the Cullens and their allies against the Volturi, the fearsome council of vampire leaders, setting the stage for an all-out battle.

Of course the final chapter in The Twilight Saga is being broken into two halves with director Bill Condon helming both. Part 1 is due to hit U.S. theaters on November 18 of this year, while Part 2 will finally make its appearance on November 16 of 2012.
