Happy Feet Two Movie TrailerLove or hate it, the commercial and critical success of George Miller's cute-as-hell 2006 penguin celebration, Happy Feet can't be argued. The film, dismissed by many as simply riding the, uh-hum, coattails of the immensely popular March of the Penguins of that same year went on to gross a worldwide total of nearly $400 million and even picked up a Best Animated Feature Oscar in a non-Pixar year. No surprises that a sequel would soon follow.

And "soon" is apparently now as the first teaser trailer for Happy Feet Two has been released and picks up with the same happy-dance mojo where the first one left off. Two is again written and directed by George Miller. The guy clearly knows his way around a family movie as he's also the brain trust behind Babe: Pig in the City and the production company is the same outfit that made Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole.

The sequel to the Academy Award(R) winning animated smash hit, "Happy Feet Two" returns audiences to the magnificent landscape of Antarctica in superb 3D. Mumble, The Master of Tap, has a problem because his tiny son Erik is choreo-phobic. Reluctant to dance, Erik runs away and encounters The Mighty Sven - a penguin who can fly!! Mumble has no hope of competing with this charismatic new role model. But things get worse when the world is shaken by powerful forces. Erik learns of his father's 'guts and grit' as Mumble brings together the penguin nations and all manner of fabulous creatures - from tiny Krill to giant Elephant Seals - to put things right.

Happy Feet Two, which features the voice talents of Elijah Wood, Robin Williams, Hank Azaria, and Brad Pitt, will have people dancing in the aisles in 2D, 3D, and iMax 3D theaters on November 18 of this year.
