Texas Frightmare Weekend is nearing

Not only will the last weekend in April here in Dallas, Texas belong to my fellow Horror Hounds and Hordettes in attendance at Texas Frightmare Weekend, but it will also be the start of some pretty ass-kicking splatterhouse screenings that we, here at Reel Reviews, will be covering.

Lucky McKee's controversial film The Woman will be screened at Studio Movie Grill (1600 South Stemmons, Lewisville, TX).  Lucky McKee, Sean Bridgers, Pollyanna McIntosh and Shyla Molhusen will be in person at the screening and a brief Q & A session will be held afterwards.  Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at Studio Movie Grill.  The film will be followed by a showing of Lionsgate’s Offspring.

Other screenings are as listed below:

Friday, April 29th:
6:00 PM -
Screening of Vampire Girl Vs. Frankenstein Girl
8:00 PM -
Screening of Helldriver
10:30 PM -
Screening of the original Saw with live commentary from Cary Elwes, Shawnee Smith, and Costas Mandylor
Midnight -

Saturday, April 30th:

6:00 PM - Screening of Mutant Girls Squad Presented by FUNimation
8:00 PM - World Premiere Screening of Boggy Creek

Of course there will be tons of other stuff to do and see at the convention, too!  Check out www.texasfrightmareweekend.com or keep your eyes peeled here for more information as we lead up to a weekend that will soon not be forgotten!
