Ever since bursting on the scene with her role as shy camper Angela in the now-cult classic horror film Sleepaway Camp, Scream Queen Felissa Rose has feasted on a steady diet of horror roles that bring her total to more than 100 film credits.

Well, she's back with her latest role in Rootwood as Laura Benott a film producer who hires a couple of amateur podcasters to shoot a documentary about paranormal phenomena and urban legends.

She's only in the trailer in a few brief shots, so it's yet to be seen how much Rose will be featured in the film, but regardless, we can't help but get a spooky Blair Project vibe from what is going on. let's see if we can squeeze one more film out of the found footage trend. {googleads}

From acclaimed director Marcel Walz (Blood Feast), the film also features Elissa Dowling (Death House), Tyler Gallant (Alpha Wolf), and Sarah French (The Amityville Murders). The film is written by Mario von Czapiewski.

Rootwood will be available on DVD and digital on April 7, 2020 from High Octane Pictures.
