20th Century Fox just released a new red band trailer for The Predator. And now they have our attention.
This will be the last trailer before the film kicks off the Midnight Madness screenings on September 6th at Toronto International Film Festival. The franchise, that started way back in 1997 with Arnold Schwarzenegger working under the direction of John McTiernan, is hoping for a revival of sorts, and from what we see in this new blood-soaked trailer, things look to be back on track.
The film's first trailer appeared back in May and left a lot of questions about the viability of the franchise going forward. But with the new red band trailer, we are now seeing director Shane Black's dark, campy humor starting to come through. Certainly a big risk, but maybe just what the franchise needs. {googleads}
Directed by Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, The Nice Guys), the film stars Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Alfie Allen, Thomas Jane, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey and Yvonne Strahovski.

The Predator is rated R for strong bloody violence, language throughout, and crude sexual references.
