John Wick Chapter 3

And another friendly hi-def hello to our fellow blu-ray geeks. Welcome to the weekly look at our most wanted titles coming to blu-ray and/or 4K Ultra HD for the week of September 9, 2019.

What a great week for blu-ray/4K UHD releases! We have seven of our ten most wanted releases this week coming out in 4K editions.

First up is John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum which gets a 4K UHD two-disc set release that features a Dolby Vision presentation of the film in addition to a huge amount of extra features.

Next is Universal getting our attention with the 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital HD release of Martin Scorcese's mob thriller, Casino. Though the release will contain no new extra features, the movie itself will be an HDR10 presentation. No word as to whether or not it will be sourced from a new scan. Regardless, this will be mighty fine pick up for the film's fans.

Disney is releasing its classic genie tale, Aladdin which is coming with a The Signature Collection | Ultimate Collector's Edition / 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital HD edition that includes a ton of bonus materials.

From the Warner Archive Collection comes the blu-ray edition of The Jetsons: The Complete Original Series which gets all new remasters in addition to the bonus materials that are ported over from previous releases.

The next release making much noise this week is the 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital HD release of The Three Flavors Cornetto Trilogy which includes the three Edgar Wright classics Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World's End.

Other releases this week include a 4K UHD edition of Disney's Ratatouille and a 4K UHD release of the Jurassic World: 5-Movie Collection from Universal which includes all five Jurassic Park films.

Despite the apparent dangers of being an unlikely — and certainly unwanted — visitor in the kitchen of a fine French restaurant, Remy's passion for cooking soon sets into motion a hilarious and exciting rat race that turns the culinary world of Paris upside down. Remy finds himself torn between his calling and passion in life or returning forever to his previous existence as a rat. He learns the truth about friendship, family and having no choice but to be who he really is, a rat who wants to be a chef.
