Paramount Home Video have announced the details of the upcoming 4K and blu-ray releases of the Christopher McQuarrie action thriller Mission: Impossible - Fallout. In addition, the company revealed when the two releases will be available to grace our home theaters. Let’s just say it is going to be a very merry Christmas as the 3-disc 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack and 3-disc Blu-ray Combo Pack will hit retail shelves this holiday season on December 4th.
The action-packed thriller starring Tom Cruise will get an early release on digital when the film is available for streaming/download on November 20th followed by the Ultra HD and blu-ray releases a few weeks later.
In addition, we now have a better idea as to the technical specs and what special features will be included on the release. We will get more than an hour of behind-the-scenes materials including in-depth looks at the stunts (which Cruise performed himself), exploration of the exotic locations where filming took place, a couple of feature-length commentary tracks (one with McQuarrie and Cruise, the other with McQuarrie and editor Eddie Hamilton), several deleted scenes, features on the score, storyboards, and more. This should be a great release for blu-ray and 4k lovers. {googleads}
