The Dark Knight Rises

This is Avengers week, but that's not going to keep Chris Nolan and company from making a little noise with another trailer (number 3) for The Dark Knight Rises.

Following the release of a series of trailer stills in a viral campaign that caught fire, Warner Bros. has officially released another trailer for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, the finale in the Batman trilogy. The new trailer uses the combination of music and stunning visuals  - but mostly silence - to create a mood of impending doom.

Some questions are answered, new ones are raised, but all in all a great goosebump-raising trailer that is sure to keep the DC superhero in the minds of the Marvel fanboys who'll be wallowing in all things Avengers over the weeks following this Friday's release of The Avengers leading up to the July 20th release of The Dark Knight Rises.
