Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter Internatinl TrailerWe got our first look at Benjamin Walker as Abraham Lincoln back in May of last year via a few movie stills, but now 20th Century Fox has released the trailer for Timur Bekmambetov's action/horror adaption of Seth Grahame-Smith's mash-up novel called Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter which is itself a mash-up of historical fact, horror fantasy and extremely stylized supernatural movie action.

Produced by Tim Burton, the film stars Benjamin Walker as our 16th president who is driven to avenge the death of his mother by crushing a vampire revolt and their slave-owner aides. Mary Elizabeth Winstead stars as Abe's wife Mary Todd Lincoln, with Dominic Cooper in the role of vampire Henry Sturgess who takes ol' Honest Abe under his cape and teaches him the ways of vampire killin'.

If you recognize the same stylized look-and-feel we saw in Angelina Jolie's Wanted from a few years back, it's because Russian filmmaker Bekmambetov has also infused this film with many of the same slo-mo, fast-mo, twisting, spinning action sequences that are becoming his signature. Though this trailer will unlikely do anything to counter the criticism from many of the film's early detractors, it's probably safe to say that if you liked Wanted, you'll like this one too.

You can watch Timur Bekmambetov's Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter when it hits theaters in 3D on June 22, 2012. Meanwhile the trailer below will have to do until then:
