Ben StillerRentaghost
20th Century Fox is reportedly reviving Rentaghost, the British TV series from the late '70s/early '80s with Ben Stiller reuniting with his Night at the Museum writers Tom Lennon and Robert Ben Garant. Deadline says the show was once being considered for revival by Warner Bros. with Russell Brand in the lead as a Beetlejuice-type of comedy, but the poor showing of Arthur from earlier this year put the kibosh on that. The BBC original that ran from 1976-1984 was about a fictional company that would rent out ghosts for special hauntings and other mischievous tasks. In this Lennon and Garant remake, Stiller will play an American turnaround consultant who is hired in the UK to help out a failing British company.

James CameronSigourney Weaver to Return for Avatar 2 and 3?
Speaking at a Popular Mechanics event to honor his filmmaking achievements, James Cameron answered a few questions about his forthcoming Avatar follow-ups. Sigourney Weaver was on hand to give the Titanic filmmaker the award, so it was only natural the banter lead to questions about her character's for Avatar 2 and Avatar 3, since the Avatar actress had previously said she is familiar with the stories and that her Grace character will definitely be returning. How might that happen you ask since her character was killed in the first installment? Come on! it's not a spoiler since everyone's already seen it… twice. You can read the interview over at Vulture but basically Cameron hints at nonlinear storytelling like flashbacks and such. Did I say she was going to be in Avatar 2? [Grins.] Well, I don’t want to disabuse her of that fantasy. But have you ever heard of nonlinear storytelling? A lot happens on that planet before she shows up, and before Jake shows up to join her. She’s there for fifteen years ahead of time. I don’t know, but I wouldn’t jump to conclusions. And I’ve already said way too much about Avatar 2 and 3 here and there, but people piece it together like those voice cameos and tell the whole story," said Cameron when asked whether Weaver will be in Avatar 2.
