Over-the-top stoner antics - Harold & Kumar style - are returning this holiday season in A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas. Yes, nothing says "Christmas" like getting baked and going to a Harold & Kumar movie.

New Line Cinema, via Yahoo! Movies just debuted the trailer that will show in front of, appropriately, this weekend's opening of 30 Minutes or Less. You can watch the trailer below to see the film's makers poke a bit of fun at the over-saturation of 3D technology in today's movies. There's also a drug-inspired throw-back claymation sequence, a nod to A Christmas Story, an inside Neil Patrick Harris homosexual joke, and plenty of the Harold & Kumar stoner humor we've come to love.

Besides the return off Kal Penn and John Cho in the titular roles, A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas also stars Patton Oswalt, Thomas Lennon, Danny Trejo, Eddie Kaye Thomas, David Krumholtz, Neil Patrick Harris, Elias Koteas and more. Screenwriters Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, who also wrote White Castle and Guantanamo Bay, have returned to pen this third installment of the H&K series. But 3D Christmas will get a new director in the person of Todd Strauss-Schulson. Anyone else think this one looks a bit too tight, clean, and polished for a Harold & Kumar movie?
