Freaks - Movie Trailer

Talk about a teaser! We don't get to see much in the short 26 second teaser trailer that was just released, but there is a new film set to premier at Toronto International Film Festival in a few weeks called Freaks and it looks to be quite the disturbing little psychological thriller.

"a bold girl discovers a bizarre, threatening, and mysterious new world beyond her front door after she escapes her father’s protective and paranoid control."

The film is written directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein (Kim Possible) and stars Emile Hirsch, Lexy Kilker, and Bruce Dern.

We're not not sure what we are seeing in the trailer - and that's by design as the distributors have kept the film under close wraps, but there's enough in there to keep us guessing about the meanings of the quick glimpses of a padlocked door, cops with guns drawn, a young girl bleeding from her eyes, lots of panicked people, and some sort of strange blood-tinged growing globule. Color us interested! {googleads}

A release date has yet to announced, and in fact, there's not even an official poster poster yet. We expect more information to start coming out very soon as TIFF starts on September 6 and runs through the 16th.

Here's a look at the very short trailer for Freaks:
