Dead Sound

Well, it's definitely NOT your typical teen-centered horror flick.  Inspired by true events, the gut-wrenching events of Dead Sound aren't soon forgotten - especially when we have a rich vs poor showdown on the deck of this fishing boat.

"Dead Sound makes for a tense experience upon the high seas for some unfortunate teenagers"

Dead Sound is what happens when you open your mouth to scream and nothing comes out.  The waves that lap against a boat during the blackest of nights also make this noise.  So, too, does the sound of helplessness when facing the wrong end of a gun. As a movie, Dead Sound makes for a tense experience upon the high seas for some unfortunate teenagers.

Out on the ocean, there is no safe distance from the fear-struck in moments of Dead Sound.  You, like some of the teens in this flick, might not survive the brutal slashing of these waves.  Tense and full of some unexpected moments, Dead Sound mixes comedic moments of teenagers at a party (I mean, Stranger Thing’s Matty Cardarople as a hero?  Yeah, buddy!) with the sheer terror of the others trying to get there.  And I do mean TERROR.  Sexual assault?  Overdosing?  It's all here onboard The Seeker. {googleads}

Sometimes, as is the case in director Tony Glazer’s new horror film, the hassle of getting to the party just isn’t worth it.  But these fearless teens from a boarding school just don’t give up. Too bad for them. They should have thrown in the towel - or at least made other plans when it comes to celebrating their graduation - the minute the last ferry for the day departs without them.

But the non-stop party on Block Island means way too much to these four friends and so, with only a private fishing boat to turn to, they reach out for help with transportation to the island.  But what they thought would be an easy ride turns out to be a matter of life and death . . . and a whole lot of cocaine.   Dead Sound

Genre icon Jeff Kober (The Walking Dead, Buffy), Terminator : Dark Fate’s Brett Azar and Cardarople star in Dead Sound, premiering on DVD and Digital this March from Uncork’d EntertainmentCaroline Day, Ashley Austin Morris, John Behlmann, Eric Tabach, Matthew Gumley, Noah Gaynor and Sophie Faulkenberry co-star as a fight for survival sees some dark secrets surfacing to the not-so calm waters around them.

But what they get, with a captain and his first mate that have no intention of taking the kids to Block Island, is a trip to Hell itself.  Soon enough, these teenagers are in a fight to survive and to simply make it back to land... any land.

Fear floats. From director Tony Glazer, and writers Jon Adler and Ted Weihman, Dead Sound is released March 3.  Make those reservations now!
