Bonehill Road - Movie Trailer

Fans of '80s horror, this is your moment.

Two huge icons of the era are teaming up to bring us a new werewolf flick in the form of Bonehill Road from legendary underground filmmaker Todd Sheets who works with popular '80s scream queen Linnea Quigley for the first time. The film was just released on DVD and you can watch the trailer below.

Emily and Eden Stevens escape one violent situation only to dive head first into another. Terrified and alone they are stranded in the dark woods only to be chased into a horrific scene in a house or horrors. They must work together to get out alive. But what is worse? What is on the inside or out?

Perhaps you remember Sheets from the early days of VHS as the guy who brought us such bloody classics as Shadows (1986), Land of Shadows (1987), Zombie Rampage (1989) and more recently Dreaming Purple Neon and Ouija Death Trap. And hopefully Quigley scares up memories of Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984), Return of the Living Dead (1985) - she was the topless zombie, and Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama (1988). If not, well, now's the time to get on board with their work in Bonehill Road, a howlingly terrifying werewolf movie that comes to home video just in time for Halloween. The film is brought to us by the fine folks over at Wild Eye Releasing. {googleads}

In Bonehill Road, Emily and Eden Stevens escape one violent situation only to dive head first into another. Terrified and alone they are stranded in the dark woods only to be chased into a horrific scene in a house or horrors. They must work together to get out alive. But what is worse? What is on the inside or out?

It has been a while since we've had a really cool new werewolf picture, so hopefully this one will be the catalyst to get the genre back on track. And yes, there is the requisite shot of claws grotesquely growing from finger tips. What would a werewolf pic be without that?

Bonehill Road is releasing this week on DVD which you can pick up over at Amazon, but in the meantime, check out the trailer below to get your werewolf on.

Linnea Quigley, Gary Kent, and David E. McMahon star in Bonehill Road, out from Wild Eye Releasing this week on DVD and on Digital soon.
