Bohemain Rhapsody - Movie Trailer

We got our first look at 20th Century Fox's upcoming Bohemian Rhapsody last month when the teaser trailer debuted. And it looked spectacular with the most pleasant surprise coming from how well Rami Malek pulled off the look of the flamboyant Queen front-man Freddie Mercury.

Well, we just got our first look at the full trailer for the film which shows us just how much the film will focus on Mercury, his impact on the band, and the singer's tumultuous final years as health complications from AIDS cut his career and life short in 1990.{googleads}

Also, it is nice to see that director Bryan Singer and writer Anthony McCarten will spend some time focusing on just how experimental these guys were with their music, a fact that set the band apart from most of their contemporaries of the time and launched the quartet into rock and roll history with an estimated 300 million albums sold worldwide.

There's a lot of good stuff going on in the new trailer but there's also a bit of concern as it seems to touch on ALL the band's highlights. Are they trying to cover too much? Will Singer et. al. face difficulty finding a consistent tone? Only time will tell.

In the trailer we see highlights from the band's formation, to how some of the songs were made, to Mercury's personal life, and finally touching on many of the band's most monumental concerts including that famous 1985 Live Aid performance that is still widely considered one of the best live performances ever. We see Rami Malek take the Wimbley London Stadium stage in that iconic wife-beater, white trousers, and white Adidas with the black stripes. Iconic!
