Amazon follows up the earlier release of a couple of teaser trailers from its upcoming film with the first full-length official trailer for Beautiful Boy, and it is absolutely heartbreaking.

The film is based on the best selling father/son memoirs titled Beautiful Boy: A Father's Journey Through His Son's Addition and Tweak: Growing Up on Methamphetamines written by David and Nic Scheff.

Beautiful Boy stars breakout Call Me By Your Name star and Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet and Oscar nominee Steve Carell as a father and son experiencing the the survival, relapse, and recovery of a family struggling to cope with addiction. The film also stars Mara Tierny and Amy Ryan. Beautiful Boy will hit theaters October 12, 2018.
